About This Workshop

Around the world and across the country, people are working together in innovative ways to solve problems in their communities – and their governments are listening. It’s called deliberative democracy, and we’ve got a crash course in how it can improve our politics and strengthen our community. In this upcoming workshop, you will:

• Learn about an issue from a variety of perspectives.
• Try out fun exercises that build your civic muscle.
• Find out how to make deliberative democracy a reality in your community.
